Coatings, paint and corrosion removal

Paint and corrosion stripping

Strip coating and corrosion to bare steel at 40,000 psi without cutting into the parent metal.

This job
40,000 to 40,000 psi
Paint and corrosion stripping
40,000

Water at 40,000 psi lifts coating and corrosion off steel and leaves the parent metal untouched. Nothing is cut, nothing is gouged, and the profile that was already in the steel from the last blast is still there when the coating comes off, so the surface is ready to recoat.

The flow is 4.3 litres a minute, which is the whole argument on a live site: a grit blast puts spent abrasive and coating debris across everything downwind and a containment bill on top. Water at this pressure produces a fraction of the waste and no abrasive to recover, and it strips flash rust with it.

Used on tanks, structural steel, vessels, plant and marine assets, including work under a live shutdown where the recoat crew is waiting behind us.
